Hello Nater, I have the Yarbo but I am struggling with getting Wifi HaLow to my front yard. I just replaced the HaLow feeder cable and placed a new antenna from Yarbo onto the core. My RTK is a ground installation, roughly 6 ft off the ground which I had to do to get away from obstructions like the massive hill in the front of our house.
Have you paid much attention to the HaLow signal strength and if you have, do you have a video on it or can you provide what signal strength you see at various positions on your yard starting with being close and having a clear line of sight?

You should try a Dreame A1 Pro or it's bigger brother, it's auto map should work just fine. My dad has an Ecovacs goat, and as you mentioned, mapping yourself is an issue via the app, even if your garden has perfect straight edges, the manual mapping never succeeds in creating a straight line. Very annoying.

The Yarbo seems an upgrade compared to the Luba2 (the only other real option)…but, OMG, $8k! You would need 5,000-10,000 m2 to justify the payback in labor hours saved.
Good review. I started with the Goat robot. It is junk and very poor value. I am now using the Luba2. It is not awful but needs competition. All the software is terrible. A real robot will need a server-based package to manage it. Using a phone for robot management is simply ridiculous. Making changes to the maps, taskings, and supervision options is extremely annoying on the phone. These robots are still general consumer toys. They work and have value, but are not ready to work without daily supervision.
Great video. Any recommendation for us that have a smaller yard. Would like to get one for my backyard? Its only 3K but a robotic lawn mower would help get it cut more often especially with the hot hot summers we have here in San Antonio.

The reviewers that mow a general center area of grass without details of how close it will mow near edges, grass heights, apps features and limitations. I do have a question; which appeared to have the most accurate RTK/GPS? Also, which came in 2nd to accuracy? Thank you so much for all of your effort. P.S. You have a beautiful home and land.

Do you get worried someone will steal the robot mower? I live in a residential area, and have about 1.5 acres, but I don't want to spend 6k on a mower to have it stolen.

I can’t say the Lube 2 has the best cut. Definitely has a lot of stragglers left behind. I mow slow and narrow to try to get the best quality cut.

I think my biggest concern with using one of these units on my yard in the city would be whether it would still be there in the morning. Seems like too easy a target for someone to come along and steal when it is unattended and mowing.
Any more detailed info on how these all would do with dense tree coverage?
