  1. Mammotion has basically stolen my money. They agreed to refund my money months ago. They have not done so. Since the charge goes through China, your bank cannot reverse the charges. Do not allow them to rob you.
Mr Crazypostman, you are aware of ethical issues with Mammotion. You should not be promoting them.

  2. avoid this company, check out their trustpilot score. ordered in June, and no contact after many emails. You'll end up with a 3K paper weight if anything goes wrong, thats if they even managed to deliver it.

  3. Wanted this until I saw the dirt circle it created in front of it's charging station. Yours is visible and you haven't ran it in 2 weeks. That's too bad. Hopefully they push an update, then I'd consider buying it

  4. Thanks for the video! I am looking for a new robot lawnmower, however I need good obstacle avoidance, with Luba I am a bit worried, because it doesn't have a camera, just ultrasound sensors. Our dog and kids sometimes leave a blanket on the grass.. Is it capable of detecting the blanket and not running over it? I read on their website that it can avoid obstacles of min 5cm in height, however in one of their videos they show it going around a blanket. Otherwise it seems solid, two cutting discs, AWD, that's better than competition.

  5. @Crazypostman Thank you for sharing. I'm curious if this is the Luba 5000? I noticed the max lawn size for it says 5000m², or 1.236 acres. You had mentioned the yard is ~3 acres. Is it able to cover the whole yard by utilizing multiple zones, or how exactly does that part work?

  6. Your explanation and time lapse footage is awesome!
I hope someone goes the other way and makes a gas powered autonomous mower that fills itself with fuel and has a generator or alternator installed that power a "shock" protection device for itself.
    I will let myself out…..

  7. Another nice vid. I got mine setup this past weekend. My yard has big hills and thick grass. The Luba was stopping a lot because of the sensors so I set it to setting 1 instead of the default 2. It does a lot better.

  8. Crazy, thanks for this update. Was just wondering when you'd do another one. Looks like two deal breakers for me. 1) can't cut a thin tall weed and 2) gets stuck often with small twigs. Will you be able to d/l a manual on-line to adjust the sensitivity for those sensors?

  9. Thanks for the video. The dog is great 🙂 Mine is very protective with robots, and she attacks our Xiaomi vacuum robot, I hope it will be fine with the Luba or at least scared of it :D.

  10. Great content! Can you go into more detail and check if Luba damages the grass (especially when it's wet) because of the way luba is turning? (I know it's not that noticeable in your garden/grass, but it would still be super interesting) Thanks 🙂
