The first lawnmower available on the Bosch 18v Power4All battery platform, meaning it shares battery compatibility with a wide range of cordless tools for the home and garden, the CITYMOWER 18 is ideal for people who want to maintain smaller urban gardens without the frustrations of tangled power leads. Battery power means the CITYMOWER 18 is especially easy to use, and its quiet too – so you can get on with the job without disturbing the neighbours. The grass combs on the side of the machine enable it to cut closer to edges and borders, so you won’t have to spend as long going over everything with a grass trimmer when you’ve finished, and the Ergoflex handles ensure a comfortable posture when steering the mower.

For people who already own Bosch Power4all 18v cordless DIY or Garden power tools, the CITYMOWER 18 is available as a bare tool for use with your existing batteries; alternatively, it can be supplied with a battery and charger so it is ready to go straight out of the box.

  1. Bought top of the range Bosch 36-850. Would not start! Not once in the manual did it mention anything about how to insert the key correctly. I was pushing it in but after you explained to click it in place (seems to obvious now!) it worked. Sincere thanks!

  2. Thank you so much for this video,I have a bosch 18v battery lawnmower only 12 months old,I tried to start it after the winter and nothing, watched your video and I soon realised that I was pressing the starter button and the safety button at the same time, now it is starting first time,so pleased I found you on Utube.

  3. This model has a problem where it won't start overheated from cutting thick grass and in some cases won't start property at all due to loose connections on the motherboard requiring some bolts to be tightened under the hood. Also remove the blade and take out the stringy grass choking the motor shaft triggering the safety cutoff. That's about it I guess, otherwise it's a good little mower for small properties.
