2024 has been a massive year for robot mowers in Australia – let talk about how good these new robots are and maybe touch on what we can expect in 2025
What was new this year in robotics:
Husqvarna Nera – What is it – What tech is it using – is it good.
Husqvarna EPOS – What is it – What tech is it using – is it good.
Kress RTKn – What is it – What tech is it using – is it good.
Mammotion Luba 2 – What is it – What tech is it using – is it good.
Mammotion Yuka – What is it – What tech is it using – is it good.
Segway iSeries – What is it – What tech is it using – is it good.
MoeBot Acer eater – Sunseeker – What is it – What tech is it using – is it good,
So where are going in 2025?
Husqvarna – to go vision?
Kress – expecting some stage larger models that might be more of a ride on type machine.
Mammotion – Is there a new Luba 3? Well short answer is no, but we are aware that they may make some modifications to Luba 2 later in the year.
Yuka we believe there is a new version of the Yuka coming that hopefully addresses the deck issues we have with them.
Segway – X series – very exciting. Bigger model that has a line trimmer attachment.
Well I am hoping to see Yarbo here this year. No confirmation of this, but it is likely to happen. What is it?

Great informative video guy's, lots of great info.
What about the companies who make robot vacuums? Dreame have one maybe similar to the Goat
Is the Luba 2 any better than Luba 1 with staying on the programmed boundary cut line near metal fences and edges with corridors between buildings? I notice the Luba 1 struggles at times for accuracy in these areas particularly when it’s cloudy as signal is weaker, it will sometimes nudge and scrape objects it otherwise shouldn’t, would consider an upgrade to alleviate this issue? Thanks
Have you heard of Teramow?
