WORX LANDROID VISION 600 , une camera , une Intelligence artificielle …ça marche ? Le test !!

Had one of the Vision M600 for several months now.

The 2Ah battery is way too small, it spends most of its day light time charging, so I purchased a 6Ah battery.
It struggles to recognise flower borders and mows into them, hence we have purchased steel edging to the flower borders
The green magnetic strip supplied is very short and is used to surround the base of trees/objects – however it is not reliable, the device often crosses this wire (often at an angle) and fails to detect it. The device then gets stuck inside the circle of wire.
Worx claim the device has a 'cut to edge' function, this is not correct. It tries to do this by driving over the edge and using the central circular cutter. If you have any steel/brick edging or baseboard then the mower cannot cross over, hence it will leave a 20cm band uncut.
Placement of the charging station is key as the device returns to base by following the edge of the garden in an anti clockwise direction. Our experience is that this is at best 50% reliable. More often than not the device gets lost and simply shuts down when the battery level reaches 5%.
You then have to carry it back to base (15Kg)
Our experience of Worx support (UK based) is good. They do respond promptly but mainly recomend manual firmware updates – which is strange as the machine was set to auto update to the latest version
The machine struggles with any slopes of 1 in 4 or more and often bellies out in any dip. In both these cases the machine would become trapped and shut itself down.

I would agree that the user interface on the device itself is not intuitive, buttons seem to have no function or need to be pressed in a specific unexplained order.
The app worked on I phones , but again it is poorly laid out. (try working out where the cut to edge feature is hidden within the app!!)

Overall this is still prototype version of what a good wireless robotic mower should be. The AI technology is interesting, but unless the mower is reliable it is of no use.

What is the use of a robotic mower if you manually have to lift it and carry it back to its base unit each day.

Belle présentation, l'année dernière j'ai hésité entre ce modèle et la Honda miimo hrm 70. J'ai pris la honda pour une seule raison car elle est pilotable à distance (aux quatre coins de la France) alors que sue la Worx je n'ai pas lu cela dans les docs, peut être que tu pourras me renseigner sur cette fonction avec la Worx.
