Honda HRX 217 Blade Change & Sharpening.

Changing the blade on a Honda HRX 217 Mower could not be easier! I will show you in this video how to change the blade and sharpen the blade, all within about five minutes. The only tools needed is a 14mm socket wrench.
When turning your mower sideways, the air filter is closest to the ground, this way you do not have to drain the oil. Below you will find two of my Amazon links. One link is for a generic blade that is thicker than the original Honda blade but less expensive, and the other link is for the OEM Honda blade if you would rather stick with that one.

    If the Honda Mower is fixed/repaired stop consumer that is for nothing fixed cause flop to repaired the gear of compression inside the engine don’t have the power to start rotostop clutch start the blade strive too much like that the engine and goes in shutdown why the fix doesn’t work correctly

    Tilt it to the right so that the gas cap is at the highest point. Direct from Honda’s video. Did mine to the left like you showed an oil drained out all over everything. Made a mess.

    You definitely tipped it the wrong way. Carb is the low point. Oil will run into the carb and the air filter, then it will smoke like your Aunt Francine for the next 45 minutes.

    3 things jump out at me. Someone beat me to the first comment,
    (1) The Carb/Air filter always tipped up,
    (2) Where is your blade balancer? you must always balance your blade after sharpening.
    (3) Forgot the torque wrench. You just can't guess the torque. 40 ft/lbs.
