  1. If you had read the instructions, you would know you’re placing it the wrong way in your garden and has to go sideways against the wall and not straight against the wall. The setup is very easy. I don’t understand you have a problem with that. But a lot of your issues is because you have not read the instructions.

  2. Worx Landroid Vision M600 – My Experience After Eighteen Months of Use

I purchased the Worx Landroid Vision M600 in March 2024. Since then, it has already had two software upgrades, both triggered after repeated warranty calls. While I appreciate the manufacturer’s willingness to update the software, the mower still struggles with several important shortcomings.

    Main issues:

Battery capacity – It runs out of charge too quickly for my lawn size.

Incomplete mowing – Leaves certain areas untouched, even on multiple passes.

Docking problem – This is my biggest frustration: the mower sometimes reports that it is returning to the charging station but then stops completely, even when it passes within 50 cm of the dock.

Leaving the lawn – On several occasions, it has left the grass area entirely, getting stuck on my gravel path against a wall.

Avoiding tall grass – If the grass is slightly taller (like willow-type growth), the mower avoids it entirely.

Over time, I’ve found that disabling some of the extra features—such as the edge-cutting routine or the automatic schedule—reduces problems. However, this defeats part of the purpose of having an advanced robotic mower.

Bottom line: While the concept of the Landroid Vision M600 is great and the camera-based navigation works well in theory, in practice it still feels unreliable. The biggest issue remains its inability to consistently return to the charging station, which makes unattended mowing impossible. Until this is resolved, it’s hard to recommend it for anyone who wants a fully autonomous lawn-care solution.
In conclusion: after experiencing the mower for more then a year and knowing now how it works, i do not think I would buy it again

  3. Had one of the Vision M600 for several months now and I agree with many of your comments.

The 2Ah battery is way too small, it spends most of its day light time charging, so I purchased a 6Ah battery.
It struggles to recognise flower borders and mows into them, hence we have purchased steel edging to the flower borders
The green magnetic strip supplied is very short and is used to surround the base of trees/objects – however it is not reliable, the device often crosses this wire (often at an angle) and fails to detect it. The device then gets stuck inside the circle of wire.
Worx claim the device has a 'cut to edge' function, this is not correct. It tries to do this by driving over the edge and using the central circular cutter. If you have any steel/brick edging or baseboard then the mower cannot cross over, hence it will leave a 20cm band uncut.
Placement of the charging station is key as the device returns to base by following the edge of the garden in an anti clockwise direction. Our experience is that this is at best 50% reliable. More3 often than not the device gets lost and simply shuts down when the battery level reaches 5%.
You then have to carry it back to base (15Kg)
Our experience of Worx support (UK based) is good. They do respond promptly but mainly recomend manual firmware updates – which is strange as the machine was set to auto update to the latest version
The machine struggles with any slopes of 1 in 4 or more and often bellies out in any dip. In both these cases the machine would become trapped and shut itself down.

I would agree that the user interface on the device itself is not intuitive, buttons seem to have no function or need to be pressed in a specific unexplained order.
The app worked on I phones , but again it is poorly laid out. (try working out where the cut to edge feature is hidden within the app!!)

Overall this is still prototype version of what a good wireless robotic mower should be. The AI technology is interesting, but unless the mower is reliable it is of no use.

What is the use of a robotic mower if you manually have to lift it and carry it back to its base unit each day.

  4. Good review, the web site says Unbox and Mow. Not in the real world. Stupid start button.
For the landriod app, Updated on 23 May 2025
For the metres square, it the 2Ah battery for 600m squared approximately. With the 4Ah battery version it is 1300m squared approximately.

  5. Leaving the clippings on the grass is not a negative. Ive had a landroid for a year now on my front lawn which looked like crap before the Landroid arrived.. The extra nutrients from the clippings really has improved my lawns health and I never notice any grass clippings laying on my lawn. As for the battery yes 2ah is crap. Upgrade to a bigger Worx battery. I do still need to run the strimmer around the edges 4 times a year and go over the hole lawn 2 or 3 times a year with a petrol mower just to pick up the odd leaf and twig etc. The app is not great but most of the time the landroid just gets the job done all by its self and the app will tell me if it gets stuck or has finished cutting. Long story short the landroid is not perfect and does need maintenance and resetting somedays but it saves me so much work and time.

  6. Got one of the older landroids that still need a boundary wire so not sure if it works the same but if you use the START or HOME buttons on the mower then you have to press the big round button to confirm (so press start/home and then press round button). But I hear your frustration, took me ages to realise too.
They do have an anti-theft alarm that goes off when you pick it up and just carry it away 😉 so maybe look at that.
Mine is the 700m2 version and runs about 2.5-3h on one charge.
And yes, the app is crap.

  7. my lawn some large stones that stick up through the grass. i painted them red so i dont mow them with my ride on . (awful Noise.) how would one of these robot things cope?

  8. Hello, if you leave the charging station like this, the robot will have problems parking. Read the operating instructions, the robot always drives counter-clockwise into the charging station, so the charging station must be placed to the side with 2 meters of free access. Just a tip 😉

  9. The most annoying thing is the 2 zones area. In my case, it is a diagonal area, around the corner of my house. It is impossible for the machine to realise how to make it work. It even goes into the wall, not realising it must stop. Piece of crap. Don't buy!!!!
