I really appreciate you doing this I can't imagine how much you spent especially considering that Amazon features many of these products for a lot cheaper.
At least right now. Challenge for me is that i have snaller lawn and I really don't care about battery capacity or how long it takes it takes however long it takes. I just want it to actually edge, be right,, get right up to trees, and the wheels on the 01000 I bought for like for a child's toy they absolutely terrible what would have been more helpful to me is like the mova looks like its more resilient, but how it maps and learns is important too. I had to manually set mine up because I have neighbors and either side and I never see anybody revealing these talking about boundaries. My neighbor would be pissed if I mow their grass or worse ran over theur stuff also never see anybody water meters mine always gets stuck and doesn't learn not to keep doing it. I can't create an area and tell it precision exploration in that area if I do exploring, it starts over erasea rhe map has no way to understand part of the land is mine. Can you recommend one for a smaller lawn under 1299
Stick to petrol mower enjoy cutting ur lawn instead of wasting 5 grand for a bunch of electronic robotic crap.

you…. you do know that the moving "capacity" is a software limit right? It sounds like you think its a physical thing.. IE bettery size or simmilar. 🙂
We want a LOW LOW tech lawn robot. Drop n go by pushing a button. We use a flip phone and don't want to work to enable the mower to work. Can you please give ur opinion on lawn robots that do not connect to any other tech item? We want to place it on the lawn, push a button and let it go. W3 have a fenced im yard so bumpers may help simce we don't want it to connect to any wifi, satellites, cwll phones or stations. Im old and. My husband is older so we just want a drop n go mower that we must maintain its recharging. Thanks!
Seems like the mowing the yard was underweighted in this lawn mowing competition. Ecovacs A3000 Pro should have been the choice. I can move a stuck mower every few weeks vs mowing a yard again that’s not cut well.

It was interesting that the video didn't comment on the Mammotion Luba series. As this was from 2 months ago, it would have been right around the time of the Swedish toddler SW update that crippled these machines. From the footage that was shown, it looks like it was tested with the 2025 SW.
Im currently testing a Navimow H2 on a 1/4 acre yard and it does an amazing job, far superior to my Husqvarna 38" tractor. Im going to upgrade to the X430 now.

All Chinese brands again. Have you ever seen a lawn in China? It isn't a thing there.
What about Husqvarna? Unlike the Chinese, Swedes actually have lawns so know the ins and out of that area yard care. They also invented the robotic lawnmower in the 80s and have been quietly improving it ever since. My country club had a collection of Husqvarna fairway mowers that do a phenomenal job.
I play with the new robotic mowers as they are usually free and have have tried 18 in the last 2 seasons. I still always keep a Husqvarna Automower ready to take over when a sensor on the newer players inevitably gets dirty or a software update ruins the functionality.

The mova is exactly the same as the Dreame. This is a problematic mower.

I ended up purchasing the RoboRock X1 lidar based on your recommendation. Unfortunately, it started failing to sense its deck height within the first 10 days, will refuse to mow, and RoboRock has taken over two weeks to come up with a response. I'll be returning it to Amazon, but for those looking at the lidar version, be wary with any issues that support will take a while to fix.
If you live in hot climates, you also will probably struggle with your phone overheating while trying to map the area to mow. If you fail, you have to completely redo it from scratch since you can't edit anything on a map.
My total yard size is 413 sq meters. With plenty of landmarks for lidar. So it's more than capable of what the mower should be able to handle without any issues.
I was originally going to go ahead and side grade to the X430 since they're functionally the same price, although the lack of lidar concerns me for the my backyard with trees, furniture and fenced.

With the mova robot im 100% confident you have some settings enables that makes it recharge too often with yard zones and cut sequence i can cut my whole yard start to finish .3 acres with 1 recharge after 80% completion there's 0 reason it would go back to recharge fully to finish the 1 percent when it had more then enough
Can you please explain what u say at 13:00? do you mean NETRTK it Inferior to RTK or do you mean that the entire system that luba, navimow 430 etc is inferior to the other robots that dont use this technology and what technology would you recommend?
I got my Roborock (the European Z120 model with same specs as X120h) shipped with the preciedge module this spring. It seems to work fine. I'm surprised it isn't also available in the US. The x120h/z120 LIDAR s a nice overall mower. Your comparative tests are good, but it would have been interesting to add "slopes" as a separate evaluation criteria. Obvsiously, with the completely flat layout of your lawn, the 4-wheel drive slope behaviour would perhaps be hard to evaluate.
