  1. Hey fellas did you know that you’re supposed to lube the gearbox located just above the cutter head.
You’ll notice that there is a screw that you remove to screw in the tube of lube available from Sthil.
I ran mine for years before discovering this out. I’m sure it was mentioned in the instructions that came with the machine but we are men we don’t read instructions.

  2. That was very helpful, because the instructions are not very clear on opening the head up. So how long do the blades need to soak? Can you just store them in water or too much soaking a bad thing?
    * it's great that the yard-pro hollywood central casting-looking demonstrator is all kitted up with the latest safety garb, but come on. It's either below zero with green grass & and sunshine, or he's trimming a path towards a massive forest fire he's about to step into. Or a sharknado.😂 Good thing the vid is under 3min before he succumbs to heat stroke.

  3. This head is a rip off. Not a good replacement for the one beforehand. It had three blades and you didnt have to take the head off to replace blades. Worst 20 dollars ive ever spent.

  4. I'm a retired US Marine, and Im about to cry because I can't figure out how to replace the old blades. I can't find a video and your instruction manuel sucks. I liked it the first time I used it, but now I wish I never bought it. It's now just a piece of shit taking up space in my shead.
