In this video we look at one of the components that can cause a Husqvarna Automower to not dock in it’s charging station or to not charge once it has docked in the station. Corrosion, a loose connection, oxidation, or other damage to the charging station’s charging contact wiring assembly can cause a “Charging Station Blocked” error, “Charging Station Problem” error, or “Charging Current Supervisor Error” just to name a few. Many people make the mistake of testing only for voltage when diagnosing the charging station and it’s component, but as we mention in this video, the amperage (Charging current) is actually the important number that needs to be checked. The mower MUST sense the proper amount of charging current coming through the charging contacts of the charging station. Depending on the model of Automower it will need to sense either 1.3 amps, 2.2 amps, 4.2 amps, or 7 amps. The charging station contact assembly is the same for the charging station of the following models 310, 315, 315X, 430X, 430XH, 435X, 450X, 450XH, 450X EPOS, 450XH EPOS, 520, 520H, 520 EPOS, 520H EPOS, 535AWD, 550, 550H, 550 EPOS, & 550H EPOS Automowers.

while checking the terminals/wire connections on older models you should also remove the black Fiber washers that are there. as this were also causing issues and Husqvarna stop putting them as they caused resistance between terminals and screws.
