ADDITIONAL VIDEO NOTES:
So in this video, I want to compare these four and help you decide which is the right one for you. We have a bunch of categories to cover, but let’s introduce each mower with their prices.

Price
Mammotion Luba Mini AWD = $1599 – $1999
Navimow i110N from Segway = $999 – $1299 or $100/mo subscription
Terramow S1200 = $999 – $1199
Yarbo = $6,999 or $9,999 for full bundle, up significantly from tariffs. Maybe going down? Like I checked this morning and it was $2000 cheaper. It used to be $7k for the whole bundle

Setup

A major question will be can my parents or grandparents set this up and use it? Let’s go easiest to hardest

Teramow just goes out, but maybe not ideal if you have multiple locations to mow. Also sometimes ignores dirt patches or yellow grass

Mammotion can map itself but is trickier. I had some frustrations with this losing GPS signal while mapping and deleting the entire map I spent 45 minutes on. The same happened in the past with the larger Luba 2 – RTK

Navimow requires you to drive it like an RC car – RTK

Yarbo is toughest to set up. Lots of assembly but the videos help.
It’s also very heavy
Yarbo requires you to drive it like an RC car – no garage though

Mow quality

How do robot mowers cut?

Everyone asks me if it can mow once a week and for some reason people get stuck on this old way of mowing.

How are heights adjusted?
Yarbo 1.2-4” digital control
Mammotion 2.2-4” or 0.8-2.6” digital control
Navimow 2-3.6” manual control
Terramow – in CM but translates to 1-3” digital control

Show mow test

Show apps and mow settings
Terramow doesnt have rain sensors so I saw it mowing in the rain a number of times. Somehow it did a good job even then

How close to the edge?

Terramow takes 2 days to do 9000 sq ft
Others are faster
Yarbo crushes it in a couple hours

Autonomy

Terrain
Terramow gets stuck in a ditch, but I can give it a pass
Navimow sometimes struggles with hills

Mammotion rarely gets stuck unless it drives up a wall or pole or something. It happens. Otherwise it just gets lost from GPS signal weakness

If they get lost, which is easier to bring back to the base?

**Obstacle avoidance test**

Lights for mowing at night

Base stations

Connecting to RTK station and wires required

Coverage
.3 acres for terramow, .25 acres for i110, .44 acres for Luba 1500H, and 6 acres for yarbo

Also, all have wifi but you can get LTE on Navimow and Yarbo

Durability
The Yarbo has a track that may need some replacement but otherwise, I have no doubt it is the most mechanically durable of these. It is very solid.

I lost my original Mammotion when it was run over by a truck. It sort of survived but it’s cast aluminum so the wheel could not be reattached very easily

The navimow is mostly plastic so it could also break.

The benefit of the Yarbo is that it is visible and harder to run over.

Volume while running
Yarbo makes a loud whining sound the whole time it runs
Terramow is nearly silent

Other Features, Tricks, And Accessories
You can access the cameras on all except Navimow I believe

Yarbo can do it all. Also new attachments rolling out like trimmer and edger

Spot mode mowing, etc

My recommendation?

  1. WHY ARE ALL THESE VIDEO ALMOST ALWAYS THE SAME. THE MOWERS ARE DRIVING ON ROACHY LOOKING LAWNS. ( IF YOU COULD EVEN CALL THEM THAT ) THE GRASS IS USUALLY MORE WEEDS AND CLOVER THAN GRASS AND THE GRASS IS SOME WEIRD LOOKING ALIEN GRASS. 👽👽👽 THE MOWERS LOOK LIKE THE GRASS IS NOT EVEN BEING CUT JUST FLATTENED DOWN BY THE WHEELS OR TRACKS. REGUARDLESS OF THE BRAND THEY SUCK AT CUTTING GRASS.

  2. Great video and thank you! I've heard that many machines get lost when the lawn is not clearly marked and there is common grass, especially the LIDAR camera versions. Do you know anything about this?

  3. I have some interest in a robot mower since it's just so insanely hot in Texas and mowing is not fun in the middle of super humid summer. I think my main things stopping me from making the switch is dop poo in the backyard so I can't run the mower on a schedule without making sure I clean up first and I'm nervous to use it in the front yard because someone could just grab the thing and drive off with it. Since they're pretty expensive, it's not something I would want to risk.

  4. Good comparison. Unfortunately I have just under an acre, so the only one that would work for me is the Yarbo, and that's out of my price range. Guess I'll give it a few more years and see what develops.

  5. Great video! Have me considering something I didn't have on my buy list. I do have concerns about theft and don't know how to ensure nobody grabs it since I'd use it for mowing the front yard… Also, must be an error at 21:52 that the YarBo can tow 3500lb. That's the weight of my RV… maybe 300lb?

  6. My first was a 26x and it made me fall in love with sailing. I loved it down in the keys and stayed on it in several different marinas all over fl. I sold it because I had three small children, but I’m looking at possibly buying a 26m. I saw a couple with four children staying on one. It’s not the fastest under sail. Sometimes a little bit small, especially for my scuba diving equipment but a really great boat especially if your budget doesn’t allow for a benetau. If they were still in business, they would probably be selling 50 to 100 boats a year easy. I’ve heard they have been sailed to Hawaii from California definitely all over the Caribbean.
