What trade show is it that is part of the video? I would be interested to attend it.
The Kress looks good, but you can’t make any adjustments to the mapping, only the dealership can do this in the UK, I think it’s going to be the Luba for me, great video, thank you 👍🏻
Hey Guys – great video ! Quick question- looking for a wireless bot 1/2 acre – (x two locations), Id like my "final blade height to be .04" /10th – any idea who has the right machine to achieve a consistent short cut on high-end turf grass? Diamond, Empires Zoysa, CitraZoy, Bermuda etc (so far Luba appears close.)
is the luba available in the US? and Im surprised worx doesn't have anything in this video. didnt they kind of get robot mowers going?
I have an app called “GNSS Status”. It states I have a GPS positioning accuracy of 5.2. Is this good enough for a RTK guided mower?
Do we have ANY idea when the Toro mower is coming out?
RTK requires the user to understand the tech. You can get alot of occlusion zones. Vision only is the future.
how does the Luba compares to Ecoflow Blade both seem to price similar.
With Husqvarna's new 450XH EPOS, will they be bringing pattern mowing to that unit as well, similar to the 550? Also, what's the difference between their 450XH EPOS and 550H EPOS? Only difference I see is the 550H has "wheel brushes" and is $900 less (and gets pattern mowing at some point?) Thx, and great vid!
GPS RTK devices are great. Price is way way too high for robot mowers. Paying more than $700 for a device that probably won’t last but a few years is not very smart. If manufacturers want to get ahead in the market prices must be kept below $1,000.
You forgot Heisenberg LawnMeister. What is you thoughts about that? Are they going to keep their promise?
Not much useful info in 27 min. I’ll summarize: Product X. We really like it. They hit it out of the park. Product Y. We really like it. They hit it out of the park. Product Z. We really like it. They hit it out of the park. Bla, bla, bla. Just my opinion.
So I have this $5000 mower, how do you get it serviced? You guys don't do that. You have to send it back to the manufacturer because there are no local service available? I think there is a problem with this business model.
What about structures? Can it only do the front yard or does it need another receiver that works in tandem? I don't live on a soccer field. It would have been better to show how it operates around actual expected conditions.
Someone want to tell me what’s to keep somebody from stopping their car and walking away with my $4000 robotic lawnmower?
I really wish I could find actual reviews. Or not videos of two guys in a room for half an hour with stock footage. Are there wireless mowers available today that work reliably like a Roborock vacuum that I can use on my yard?
What specific use cases are you referring to with Gardenia? How does it compare with the 115h
Check out the Heissenberger Lawnmeister. Like Luba, but no meed for a antenna on your wall.
Hey guys! Can you recommend robotic mower which can identify toys left In the garden by the kids and not shredding thwm to pieces. Im in Europe, my gatden is 1000m2. (0,25 acres). Much appreciated!
Good video, but look at the camera
Worx new vision based machines beats all.
It’s exciting to see companies finally implementing RTK; its been out for a long time. The next gen is rtk in the cloud. The key advantage is battery use is reduced and you don’t need a local RTK receiver. For commercial applications I could actually even see value is cutting edge gps solving in the cloud. This is newer technology but has a massive beneficial impact in reducing the battery load by the gps receiver. When you want a mower that can cover lots of acreage, every milliamp matters.
Great video.
How about doing one with products that we can actually buy, right now.
Educational, thanks guys. Great vid👍
Great info, thank you!
Great video! Here in Southern California Kurapia is increasingly becoming a substitute for grass yards often due to city rebates to incentivize water reduction and landscape maintenance pollution. Theoretically it seems a robotic mower would be perfect for Kurapia which needs frequent quarter inch cuts from little information I have been able to find. Are there any resources you know of that detail best practices for mowing Kurapia? One main concern here is that Kurapia may not mulch well and I am unaware of a robotic mower that bags clippings. Thanks!
What is the least expensive brand/model that doesnt require a perimeter wire and is available in the U.S. ?
Been using the luba for a few weeks on three acres with lots of tree coverage It seems like it's going to work out great!
When it starts with “I feel like 2022 was a big year for robotic mowers” I’m in lolz 😂😂😂. I feel like you could get high AF with Martin and mow for hours 😎🙌🐇
Great video guys! I have received my Mammotion Luba and honestly have been blown away with the quality and accuracy so far. I’m excited for their next one, the Kumar, which can handle 3+ acres.
What about the Ambrogio mowers? You didn't even talk about them.
Great video, a lot of good info. I know there are a lot of robotic mowers, but I'm surprised you didn't mention Novabot, which uses RTK and a camera.
I've had the pleasure to work on a Husqvarna Ceora for a client not cheap but amazing bit of kit
Is there a mower that will edge against my house and raised beds? I have a JD ride on to do the main yard area, but a lot of edging to do with the string trimmer I would like to replace.
So no Worx Vision?
My two cents regarding these different technologies in the upcoming future is that the wired systems will prevail in the lower budget systems, since it is a cheaper way to construct the robots,
Then we will have the vision/ai in the midrange to handle smaller to midsize lawns and then RTK for the large to super large lawns/fields due to the increased costs of the RTK tech.
I have an RTK question: Can you explain why a Husqvarna epos system has a pole that is placed in your own garden (= huge extra cost) and why a KRESS RTK is a pole within 15km? No extra cost.
I run a golf course and I'm looking into ceora to ease pressure off greenstaff. Got a week long demo later in the month.
What happens when the cameras inevitably get dirty?
