flymo easilife go review

The Flymo EasiLife GO is one of the most affordable robotic mowers in the market.

However, that doesn’t mean it’s any less efficient.

On the contrary, it actually comes with many features that some of the more expensive robot mowers don't have.

So, let's take a closer look at the EasiLife GO...

Our Verdict

The EasiLife Go is perfect for anyone with a small lawn looking for a more affordable robot mower.

The EasiLife Go can be controlled completely via the extensive Flymo mobile app, scheduling mow times and monitoring your mower becomes a breeze.

The only downside is that your lawn will need to be reasonably flat for the EasiLife to navigate properly as it's not the best on slopes and uneven ground.

One Minute Review

We've already established that the Flymo EasiLife Go is a great robotic lawnmower, but what exactly makes it so good?

Let's have a quick look...

Features

The Flymo EasiLife has an excellent navigation system and will easily make its way around your backyard.

It’s also equipped with a wide range of sensors that ensure the operation is done safely.

Another great feature of the EasiLife is its incredible mobile app that allows you to almost completely control your robot mower by smartphone.

Battery

The power system is pretty strong too. The EasiLife uses an 18V 2.0 Ah lithium-ion battery.

It takes around an hour to fully charge and runs for about the same amount of time.

Mowing System

The EasiLife comes with three blades which are all pivot mounted.

What does this mean? If the mower accidentally hits an object, it won’t damage it.

There’s a small dial on the device that allows you to adjust the height quickly and easily. You can find it near the control pad on the top.

You'll be able to adjust the blade height from a minimum of 2cm to a maximum of 4.5cm.

Unfortunately, the app won’t help you with this.

Pricing

The Flymo EasiLife Go can be purchased for around £650 depending on which model you choose making it one of the most affordable robot mowers on the current market.

Flymo EasiLife Main Features

Here are the main features of the Flymo EasiLife Go model.

  • Great Security System

It has standard safety features that prevent any potential threat. For example, if someone tries to lift the mower, a loud, high-pitched alarm will blare out, and you will be notified via the mobile app.

This is a great way to deter would-be thieves from trying to steal your beloved lawn mowing companion.

In addition to the alarm system, if the mower is lifted, it will automatically deactivate and need a 4-digit pin code to reactivate, making it useless for thieves to try and steal.

  • Excellent Sensors

The mower comes with lift and tilt sensors that help get the job done easily, even when you’re not around to fix any mishaps.

For example, if the mower hits anything or lifts one or more wheels from the lawn, the sensors will automatically redirect the mower back to the right track.

Likewise, if it goes beyond the incline limit, the mower will stop automatically.

  • Automatic Docking System

While the mower works fine in rain or shine, it’s best to let it rest on rainy days.

You can even get the docking station roof for added protection which comes as an optional addon when purchasing your robot mower.

Flymo EasiLife Go Vs Bosch Indego S+

The Bosch and Flymo are fairly evenly matched when it comes to robot lawnmowers. Let's see how the competing models fair against each other...

flymo easilife go vs bosch indego s+

EasiLife Go Vs. Indego S+: Features

In terms of functionality, the Indego S+500 and EasiLife Go are pretty similar.

Both have great mobile apps, land area coverage and great security and safety systems.

As far as mowing patterns go, the Indego S+ 500 uses Bosch's LogiCut system that enables the Indego to mow in an adjacent pattern instead of the generic random style of mowing that Flymo uses.

The S+ 500 mowing performance is slightly better than that of the Flymo's.

EasyLife Go vs. Indego S+: Battery Life

While the EasiLife Go will mow for 70 minutes and require 75 minutes to recharge, the Bosch Indego S+500 will mow for 60 minutes and need another 60 minutes to recharge.

Both models have an impressive mow-to-charge ratio and are equally matched as far as battery life goes.

EasiLife Go vs. Indego S+: Safety

When it comes to safety, there isn't much that separates these two models.

Both have multiple features designed to protect you, your family, and your property.

They are enabled to prevent possible personal injury or property damage.

EasiLife Go vs. Indego S+: Verdict

Overall, they are both fantastic robotic lawnmowers and are almost evenly matched in every category apart from mowing performance.

Bosch's LogiCut system is slightly more efficient than the random mowing pattern of the Flymo's.

However, the Indego S+ 500 is also quite a bit more expensive and will set you back around £850 which is considerably more than the £650 price tag that the Flymo EasiLife Go comes with.

Flymo EasiLife Go In a Nutshell

The Flymo EasiLife Go lawnmower is a worthy investment for several reasons. It comes with a multitude of useful features that promise a well-cut lawn.

We would recommend the EasiLife Go to anyone looking to get a high-quality robot mower that will get the job done at a very affordable price.

Happy Mowing!
