In this video I repair and upgrade a wheel motor for a Honda Miimo HRM40, same motors are also used in Bosch Indego 300, 350 and 400.
The worn gears are replaced with high quality gears and a improved ball bearing solution instead of a bushing that is originally installed as a wheel bearing.
This makes the motors last many times longer than original and it will make the machine more energy efficient at the same time.
The original design is probably designed to fail shortly after the warranty period has ran out. In my opinion this is planned ageing to sell more spare parts.

Perfectly work with Bosch Indego S+350
I strongly suggest to add the M4x10 screws to basket. I had to drill out two of them, the rest were destroyed with an impact driver.
When you drill screw's head use 7mm very good bit and do it slowly.
The same, I used all metal washers back but only one plastic, that outside gear, on wheel axle on top of locking ring.
There is no space for plastic washer inside. When you press all parts together, fit well.
And yes…Thanks to Gordon, my Indego got a second life.

I have one question for you though. i have an Automower 420, and have changed the battery from the original to and OEM 4ah from husqarna. But i shows up as a 2600MAH. are there some way to change it to the correct value ?
