It’s a dirty word among ‘lawn experts’, robot mowers! doesn’t matter what brand, Flymo, Worx Landroid, Husqrvarna. No they don’t give you stripes, but they keep your lawn mowed and maintained when you don’t have time.
I love them, so when mine broke (not for the first time), i wanted to fix it. In this video I’ll show you what went wrong and what I did to sort it.
The mowers I own….
Flymo 1200r
Mountfield rotary mower
and a new purchase I’ll be taking you through soon!

Great video. Thought I had the same problem. Watched how you took the base station apart. Checked my connectors but mine are still ok and everything appears fine with base station. I just have no green light on it. I guess it may be the power pack or the cable coming from it to the base station. I tried the fuse but it’s not that either. Hopefully I can work it out. Thank you anyway as I have now ruled that issue out.
Thank you so much for this video. Exactly the same problem with my 1200r and thanks to you I have just mended it. All is good with the worId. was on the verge of replacing it, so a bit less landfill and a tidy lawn. Thank you
Thank you for creating this little video about your Freddie…hoping to fix my Flo 😉 Fingers crossed I can find the cause after seeing this, so will be back to share how I got on 🙂 EDITED – So your video gave me the confidence to check all the wires under the enclosed part of the docking station and they were all good. No power initially after changing the fuse, as the plug may have got wet during the 2 years I've not used her. So checked again and remember that a while back I accidentally pulled the power cable that comes straight out of the back of the docking station. Checked this and one of the wires wasn't all the way in….but now fixed! So happy, as I've not been well over the last couple of years and not spent much time on my garden. But having Flo, really helps me tick of one of those jobs that I struggle to keep up with during the summer 🙂
