Husqvarna Automower Power Supply (Transformer) Information. What You Need To Look For & Differences

Whether you call it a transformer or a power supply, this part is crucial to the operation of any Husqvarna Automower. Over the years there have been changes and upgrades made to the different power supplies for the Automowers such as the original versions being able to have 100v-240V input. With the incorporation of the charging current supervisor all Automowers now look for a specific charging current (amps) value in order to dock in the charging station. If the mower senses lower than 80% of the value it is looking for it will not stay docked in the charging station because it will think there is a short in the system preventing the proper amount of amperage reaching it. The amount it is looking for is 80% of the amperage the Husqvarna specified transformer for that model of Automower is to be using.

  1. Hi, good thing. I am thinking if i can apply bigger power supply ro the station and bigger battery into a automower for longer cutting? I have 305 and 10hs of work a day it is too short. Efficiency 600m2 it is a dream. I need longer cutting time but no longer charging time during a day work. Thx

  2. Like always, very nice content ! However, I am surprised that you don’t talk about alternatives like Meanwell power supply, cheaper and a LOT better in quality. OEM power supply is very bad and super expensive… (430x owner since 2017).
