Husqvarna Automower Wheel Motors: New Motors For 550 EPOS & 550H EPOS And What You Need To Look For.

In this video we talk about wheel motors for Husqvarna Automower models 430X, 430XH, 435X, 450X, 450XEPOS, 450XH, 450XH EPOS, 520, 520 EPOS, 520H, 520H EPOS, 535 AWD, 550, 550 EPOS, 550H, and 550H EPOS. There have been several revisions to the wheel motor assembly used in these models of Automowers over the years. At one point all of those models either came with the 581621306 wheel motors with the metal mounting flange or were being upgraded to that version as the original wheel motors failed. The metal mounting flange made it easy to identify that a used mower had the better version of wheel motor installed. But back in 2023 Husqvarna changed things up again, but only in the 550, 550H, 550 EPOS and 550H EPOS models. This new version of wheel motor, part #599659302 is currently a bit more expensive than the 599659302 (599659302) wheel motor used in the other 430, 450, and 520 Automower variants. It’s important that if you have a wheel motor issue and need to replace the wheel motor that you replace it with the same type of motor that your mower was originally equipped with.
