  1. Great review and great mowers! I know that the Luba 5000 is meant to mow an area of up to 5000sqm, but could it be configured to have zones that add up to more than 5000sqm? or multiple zones of 5000sqm? or is there a software limitation to stop it doing an area larger than 5000sqm? Thanks again

  2. Wondering … lots of twigs and branches fall on the grass , how will it handle that? Maybe needs a broom/ sensor on front.
And since these things like to run all the time how will they handle being stored away during winter? I guess the next spring, and every spring after , your remapping lawn again.

  3. I have two of the wired 450x Automowers covering about 3 acres. Unfortunately the durability has proven not what I expected. Hoping to investigate the Luba option next year.

  4. How does RTK works if you have a separate front and back yard, so you can cover only one of them with RTK? Is it possible to install two separate RTK transmitters on the different sides of the house?

  5. My 450X has cost me many hundreds in parts since 2018, once out of warranty. Husqvarna parts prices are astronomical and they underdesigned the wheel motors and charging wiring harness. I'm pretty unimpressed. Had i paid a dealer to do those repairs, I'd guess I wouldn't be that far ahead of hiring a lawn service.

I imagine the 450 with the updated parts (which I've bought in the repairs) is better now, but I'd be hesitant about the new technology being similarly underwhelming.

  6. Thanks guys, for the review. I have been struggling over the thoughts of purchasing a robotic mower. I hire a lawn service to care for my lawn. I'm not sure which has more stress: fighting the weather, heat and cost doing it myself -or depending on a business that is here one day and out of business the next season. I'm an IT man by trade and very I'm difficult and demanding when it comes to expecting the best from technology. I mean seriously! We're in 2023 and we still can't get a 100% robotic lawnmower. Yet, Space-X can return a rocket back to its landing pad! Thanks again for the great information.

  7. I think you guys test the beta for future updates, I was wondering if you ever give feedback to Mammotion ( as being a autorise seller has more impact then customers). I love my Luba, but in the case that you do give feedback, 2 major features, validation of proper positioning when resuming the mowing after stopping because of bad positioning. Mine ends up in the neighbours lawn briefly but stops there when it realize its out of the working area or adding a feature to mark a zone safe tu return to work area automatically. And of course enhancing positioning with less satellites for the Luba itself, signal drops sometimes between 12-18, when it’s better above 20 as we know.

  8. Why do so many people love these Manmotion mowers, but the reviews on Amazon are mediocre at best? Is Manmotion going to issue a recall or send out parts to fix the IPX6 recall? That was a great selling point that ended up being hype. Neither mention how close to the side the blades go. Also, on the Luba, on your autmow site specs it says the Luba lowest cutting height is 1.2 inches, but this review said 0.9 inches. This has a 16 inch mowing width. How many inches does this typically overlap on the next pass? How about cutting speeds on various types of grass? I have Zoysia which is a dense turf type. Would you be required to mow slower? How would this effect the number of mows before replacing the blade? The Luba is a great product and I'll keep an eye on it for future upgrades. I'd like a future version that can mow lower. Thanks for the great video!

  9. Just brought Mammotion Luba to mow a remote (parents) garden, have been using Bosch Indego, whilst it is ok, have cut the perimeter wire on a few occasions and it stopping at a slightest bump and it's inability to restrict areas without wire has caused many issues. Your reviews and others have given me confidence in this has been the right choice.
