My thoughts on the New Stihl zero turn mowers #farmall51 #stihl

I knew Stihl has had mowers out for a while but this is the first I had laid my eyes on. they had several in the dealership and looked to be built really well. No I’m not going out to get one lol I think I will stick with my commercial Toro 5000 series mowers. Parts availability is key to being able to get back to work after a breakdown. I have 3 toro dealers within 15 minutes of me so that was a huge factor there. hope you enjoy. I will see about doing a video on one if my dealer would want to demonstrate one for me.

  1. It makes sense that the chute side would be the most used because all the grass has to pass buy it and thay blade discharge it all.

Apparently all the grass guys and pros like the Kawasaki engines cause there more reliable and better on fuel consumption that i have read.

  2. If your on rough and on uneven terrain the cut will look bad regardless or suspension or not. The biggest culprit is how wide the decks are. You'll always have a better cut with a smaller deck. Follows the contour much better then a big deck digging and scalping on one side and not the other. Most suspension doesn’t even seem to move that much to make any major differences in the cut.
