Robomow RK Performance
All the RK mowers have the same attributes. Just different capacities. Two can cover 1000m², and the other two can cover 2000m2 with a much powerful battery. Two can be controlled with the app, and the other two cannot interact with the app.
So let us look at their common functions and see how well they perform.
•Mowing Pattern
The Robomow RK Series mowers use a randomly generated pattern to cover mow your lawn. This way, the mower will go over the lawn multiple times to ensure a clean and freshly mowed lawn.
However, you may find some places to be missed, and if this is the case, you simply need to increase the runtime of the mower.
•Cutting System
All RK series mowers have a unique blade structure. It is a four pivoted blade system. The blades are located at the side of the mower.
It's a unique setup, but it gives the RK mower the advantage of cutting the edges cleaner than other configurations. This is something that most other automatic mowers lack.
The mower blade can be set into different heights from 2 cm to 10 cm.
The strategically placed mowing blade system allows the Robomow RK Series mowers to cut the edges of your lawn quite efficiently.
The Robomow will hover over the boundary wire by 10-15cm to effectively trim to the edge. Keep this in mind while installing your Robomow.
•Rough Terrain
The patented all-terrain wheel can make the Robomow RK Series mowers climb up terrains of up to 45o.
The unique patented wheels of the Robomow allow it to maintain traction on steep slopes, wet grass and make it an extremely mobile robotic lawnmower.
•Security
The Robomow RK mowers have four-digit pin code settings for accessing security.
Insert the wrong pin, and it will sound like the anti-theft alarm.
If lifted and taken out of the territory, it will shut down for good. The only way of turning it on again is by inserting the pin.
•Child Safety
Using the lift and tilt sensors, the Robomow RK Series mowers will shut down its blade when a child or someone tries to lift it.
Robomow RK Vs Worx Landroid M1000
These two models are arguably the most advanced robot mowers for small lawns on the market today.
They both have great features and are their unique patented designs, let's see how they differ, shall we?
Robomow RK Vs Worx Landroid: Features
In terms of features, these two mowers are packed to the brim.
Both models offer a great mobile app, numerous sensors, multiple mowing modes, and much more, making them pretty much equal feature-wise.
Robomow RK Vs Worx Landroid: Battery Capacity
This category is a landslide victory for the Landroid.
While the Landroid m1000 can mow for 120 minutes and require 90 minutes to recharge, the Robomow RK can only mow for 60 minutes and require 120 minutes to recharge.
The Landroid is far more efficient when it comes to battery life.
Robomow RK Vs Worx Landroid: Safety
It's clear to notice that both manufacturers are extremely safety-centred.
Both models offer numerous sensors to avoid injury or property damage and have introduced multiple fail-safes into their mowing algorithms over the years.
Both models are extremely safe robotic lawnmowers.
Robomow RK Vs Worx Landroid: Noise
The Landroid will be noticeably louder than the Robomow RK.
Robomow RK's noise output: 60db.
Landroid M1000's noise output: 67db.
Therefore, it would be best to get the Robomow RK if you live in a very noise-sensitive area.
Robomow RK Vs Worx Landroid: Overall
As you can see, both the RK and M1000 excel in their own way, with a few key differences in approach.
While the Landroid is far superior in terms of battery efficiency, the RK is quieter and more pleasant in suburban areas.
The Robomow RK in a Nutshell
The Robomow RK series is a game-changer in automatic lawn mowing. The RK series has some of the best features you can ask for from an automatic mower.
It will mow your lawn at any height you want (up to 10 cm) and it can drive through difficult terrains.
The RK series currently has four models under its belt. RK1000, RK1000 Pro, RK2000 and RK2000 Pro. All of these models share Robomow’s patented technology of lawn mowing.
Happy mowing!
