Robot Lawn Mowers Australia – Worx Landroid Crossing Boundary Wire

In this video we talk about how interference in your boundary wire can affect how the Worx Landroid Robotic Lawn mowers sense the boundary wire. This interference can result in the robot mower crossing the boundary wire and bumping into your fence, wall or other object. Having a metal fence or wire fence around your boundary wire can result in the robot mower inducting a signal into the fence which can cause the robot mower to not understand where the boundary really is. We discuss how to diagnose the issue and provide some option on how to rectify the issue.

  1. Glad I found your video and thanks for the information.
I have this very problem with my W139 after I erected a galv-tube-framed chainwire mesh fence alongside the lawn.
The Landroid has become stuck twice over the boundary wire as it's wedged up to the fence, the gap between the boundary wire and fence is only 200mm. I might try narrowing the gap so it has more chance of pulling back out rather than getting too far into the no-man's-land.
The Landroid is on firmware 3.32, what update features would I be losing after rolling back to the earlier version?
    Thanks for the great channel.
