Robot mowers are a waste of time?

Robot lawnmowers are ideal because you want to cut your grass frequently, it reduces the stress on the grass. It’s also best to cut the grass in the late afternoon or at night so it’s not happening when the grass is heat stressed and thirsty.

I saw one of those things in my neighborhood earlier this summer.

Yep that is what we 1st said as it takes 3.5 hrs or 4hrs to move the backyard but you can do something else while it is mowing & can have ie a few days a week so grass stays same height every week

Slow is irrelevant because you're not tending to it.

Also, you can set the robot mower to cut grass everyday if you want.

Grass is healthier and looks better when mowed more often.

And the robot doesn't resist and complain!

Does this have a " learning mode" or a memory… what makes it learn the pattern and size of the lawn? What keeps it from mowing over a bunny?

its true, even tho i have no kids, i used to cut my grass, to get it all done, it took me like 3 hours every 3 weeks, thats a huge amount of time wasted just to cut the grass, so Robot is a lifesaver

How is it in extreme weather conditions, I live in Tx and we get over 100° in the summers

You have to keep your eyes on it if it’s too slow because people nowadays will just grab and take things that do not belong to them

My mom making me mow the grass in extremely hot weather is why I’ll never do it as an adult

You still need grass collector to keep grasses mouching by itself 😅😅

My backyard looks better than my front yard, and I’ve done nothing but let the robot mower do its random roomba thing – my front yard I have reel mowing, spray treatments and everything under the sun. The backyard still looks better, I feel the random low cut pattern with razor blades does wonders compared to the straight lines of everything else 😂😅

The comments in this thread are so negative.
I own the Seagway 3000 and it's a fantastic robot.
I had to cut the lawn once with a regular lawnmower, since then the Seagway have done it better then I ever could.
My lawn is over 3000m2.
It must be lawnmower companies that leave such negative comments!
