Is it worth it? A self-watering system for plants that you can control from your smartphone? It makes life so much easier! Sure, it wasn’t really that hard to water the plants before, but you couldn’t take a long vacation.
The Gardena Smart System (not sponsored, sadly!) turned out to be a real lifesaver and a great way to set up self watering plants. Was looking into building something myself, but it turned out that someone else already made the perfect self-watering system for plants, so why not just invest in that instead of spending hours upon hours trying to make something similar.
The Gardena Smart System app could do with some more work though, but I guess that might come in a later update ๐
