  1. Thanks Mike, I am planning on getting a Landroid WR155 this spring ( 2023 ) and have been watching a lot of videos. I have learned a lot from your videos. I am considering getting this module and a Radio Link module when I get my Landroid. I am planning on using 3 zones. One in the front, one in the back and the other in a narrow section next to my garage. My setup may take me a little while as I will be running around 800 feet of boundary wire.

  2. Weight of the pot compresses the grass and likely isn't the full 7inches from top of grass/surface level. Milk carton is light weight and sits higher on surface

  3. what happens when you don't install the boundary wire inside a closed-backyard, with fence and retaining walls. maybe just install a boundary that cuts the backyard in half, so it can trace it's way back to the charging station? thanks

  4. I have the ACS module now too and it definitely avoids people with ease. Just do not stand with your toes towards it first 😉 it doesnt see feet but legs. Works great! I recon this way it will see pet feet as well and with all the other security features I would definitely leave it alone with any animal.

  5. To be fair; you should've tried to stand facing the other direction (so your feet don't protrude towards the mower). It wouldn't have hit you then 99% sure. It doesn't 'see' your feet just your legs.

  6. Have you ever seen it avoid your dog?
My dog follows my Landroid barking at it. He’s a small french bulldog and had back surgery so not the most agile dog.
I worry about it bumping him and not stopping. Needless to say I do not leave him alone with it.

  7. The ACS uses sound wave to detect obstacles so it was definitely not the color, rather the shape or texture of your pot.

It's madly overpriced though, generic distance sensors can be found under $10. For this price I expect it to work at least as well as robot vacuums. Hoping the tech to improve and price to go down soon.

  8. I have one – the mower is great but have had same problems here.
For the last 10 or so years I have flown (now 9) DJI drones – they recognise things in front of them regardless of colour.
Worx should speak with DJI to "worx" out things. I know, it can be done – I've tried to crash my drone many times to no avail.
Maybe they just need a faster processor (CPU) – I don't know for sure. Just that programming (for 30 odd years) is my livelihood so my comment should carry some weight 🙂
