For the last 4 seasons I have been saying a robotic mower that does not need wires in the ground will change the industry forever. well it seems like Toro did me one better. no wires and no GPS. is this true A I or something else?

No boundary wires, no GPS, actually, now that you mention it, no mower. đ
Dudes eyebros look like a toro logo
So what happened to this automower? There is no new information on it.
Stupid useless video. Why post a video of it NOT mowing grass? Because it doesn't work worth crap in a real life situation.
Revolutionary ? This is no different than vaccum cleaners that were available quite a while ago and probably for much lower price. It looks like it is still not yet available…
Will I get my Cybertruck or Toro robot mower first?
I dunno but most camera solutions suck big time! No environment and is safe enough for them, the world is not an empty video game đ! I would go with DGPS!
Is battery removable? Also, what chemistry is the battery?
Now for the real questions:
* is it AWD or do just the rear wheels work?
* how big of a slope can it handle?
* do the wheels slip when it's on a slope?
* how sensitive is the robot? Meaning, if it hits a "pothole" in the lawn, will it stop and complain? What about a bump? Will it stop and complain that the mower was lifted? What about if it runs over a tree root? Will it get stuck on it or is it robust enough to get itself off?
* What happens if it slips while it's near the boundary, then finds itself outside of its perimeter? Will it recognize, "Hey, my area is over there" and drive back to it and continue cutting? Or will it basically say, "I'm not familiar with this area. Come save me please!"?
I don't want to see this running on carpet. I want to see real tests.
THSES ARE ALL LAUGHABLE JOKES. THIS ONE AS YOU CAN SEE CAN ONLY HANDLE 2 INCH ASTRO TURF,
Hey, it can mow a carpet on a flat floor!! My lawn is just like that.đ
Liar, liar. The new Worx mower has vision-based technology.
There is no easy way of doing it. Either wire, gps or fancy ahrs combined with local transmitter. Cameras will be covered by dust and you will end up with a blind robot lost in the yard.
Pricing in a couple weeks, that was 4 months ago TORO…… wtf, I'm looking to get a Robo mower, but you're not giving any info. Ecoflow, Segway are taking orders, get with it!
Unfortunately, they still havenât sent a single update on this mower.
aaahhh who wants to listen to that silly thing roaming around all the time
Luba right now looks the most promising however without a dealer/service network, I dont know that many will buy in at $2700 for an AWD model that may have electronic parts fail, drive motors fail etc with no resource unless you have a friend in China. Toro, being a nationally recognized brand in the US would instantly garner brand recognition and likely could demand 50% more than the average brand just based on name alone. That said, they must be careful as they must release something that is competitive yet reliable and works well.
Notice there was no mention of striping. RTK does striping. So if they are abandoning striping and relying on cameras alone, I would be concerned how reliable this would be. The Luba uses RTK AND Cameras AND five sensors. That's alot of tech. But it has yet to be sold to anyone who can say if for sure it is the real deal sans a few beta testers.
I really have high hopes for this mower, but spring is here and we are only 1.5 months from summer so….where's it at? What's the update?
That's all nice, but does the Toro also mow the edge?
This is one of the most important things that little, preferably nothing at all, is left on the sidelines.
Where to buy – Australia?
Does it mow in straight lines? If your lawn mower is still bouncing around in random patterns you are living in the past.
Will it go up a hill?
I have a front yard, and a backyard, separated by a fence.
Would I have to re-calibrate this thing twice ?đ€
That boy good. Dodged that question about a test unit like a 2nd grader moving out the way of a rubber ball during recess.
No wires, no gps, no product a availability date, no price.
This is great for cemeteries
Coming up on 30 days until Spring. Did something fall through? What is Toro thinking? I donât want to have to go out and buy a Husqvarna, lolâŠ.
Been on the list for notification, not a single email from toro, when is this really coming out?
âWe will have pricing in a couple weeksâ. Month later and no updates.
Edit: 5 months later and still no pricing
