Adding spikes solved all my problems. I just have to take care it stays home while the ground is too wet, otherwise the wheels and the spikes fill with earth and start slipping. I just installed the Landroid L1000 a month ago on ungroomed wild patchy grass with potholes (similar to your mice holes) and some steep areas.

Since this modification, af have had no issues at all.
The thing with the m series, is that it is to heavy on the front wheel.
