Thx alot! Did new bearings in my Gardena sileno City two years ago. Now ordered the upgradekit because they axils are worn Out pretty bad
I used this kit to repair my 450x. The right wheel had warn center gear and the posts for the planetary gears were quite worn. I did the complete kit with bearings and axle. Fantastic quality and value. The video was very thorough and I did it with ease. I decided to attempt it without splitting the unit and fully removing the motor and it went fine. I'm going to order the other side and do it this winter after seeing what this side looked like. I have over 12k miles on this unit so not too disappointed in the factory setup but this one seems far superior in design.

Hello, interesting video and commentary, 3 seasons of mowing without any problems, wintering with a fully charged battery before stopping and sleeping in a dry place during the winter, then in the spring when starting the firmware requested an update during the spring outing and since then, I have had a repetitive error message every day on my 435X AWD, telling me that the battery is reaching the end of its life, I have to manually select reset in the app to start the mowing program, and in this case it starts mowing again without problems during the day, and the next day it starts again;
My question is:
If I replace the original battery with an original battery, do I need to recalibrate or calibrate the new battery or does it do it automatically?
And if calibration is required, how is it done?
Do I need specific devices, or is it a hidden menu?
Is there a method using key combinations on this model to access the hidden menu of this mower? I still find it abnormal that the manufacturer doesn't provide an explanation in its user manual for following a specific procedure for replacing the battery.

Was abit scared at first because of the long video. But after watching it while doing it i gotta say no biggie. And damn does the gear feel good after the upgrade! Can't wait to get the thing on grass soon! Thanks alot for a great product!
i really REALLy like your thinking og reuse and repair, like earlier at work(mechanic) we repaired steering racks, brake caliber, cyllinders and so on, but now, it is not time wise vs cost rentable… it is good to repair and keep things going, and if u double the lifespan(or more) with this kit, then great

Tyckte om den förra videon lite mer, var mer rakt på sak och tycker den var enklare att följa och se delarna. Men detta fungerade också bra 🙂
Jag lyckades få en liiiiiiten spricka i den nedre, sköra, pulvergjutna delen när jag skulle pressa in den nya axeln (100% mitt fel, var inte rak/noggran nog), verkar sitta tight och bra ändå, hur orolig bör jag vara? Går det få tag på en ny sådan del?

Mit ein wenig handwerklichem Geschick ist es möglich auch ohne Spezialwerkzeug (außer dem Abzieher 🙂) das Radgetriebe wieder Instand zu setzen! Der Original Satz hat bei mir 10.000 Betriebsstunden gehalten – wie lange werde ich jetzt mit deiner besseren Lösung fahren? Ich bin schon gespannt! 🙂
Ein paar Gramm mehr vom Getriebefett wären super! 😉

I bought the kit with the longer axle. It works well. The transmission on the right side was totally damaged. But a friend of mine has some connections , so we are looking to make some alternative für the planetary gears. If we are successful, I try to contact you.

Tackar för en helt suverän och informativ video. Återkommer inom kort med beställning till min 430X som inte uppvisar slitage men med råge passerat rekommenderade 5000 h intervallet. kan du rekommendera någon speciell typ av fett ?
