We have a large but flat park to mow. It is full of big trees, ponds and narrow paths between hedges, so basically a navigation nightmare. We currently do it with one costly Husqvarna 450x, one Luba 2x and one Luba 3. They all navigate perfectly. We use the Husqvarna to do random mowing and find this most attractive over a large area. It's like a carpet. We are less fond of the Luba stripes but must admit that the Luba does a phenomenal job in complex parts of the garden and even mows our maze. The downside of the Luba for us is that it tends to leave very severe tear damage in some parts of the lawn (even with multi-stage turning activated). We are guessing that this is primarily due to its turning mechanics with bidirectional front wheels. As our park is flat, we would love to have a machine that is lighter, turns less destructively and damages the grass less. Are we dreamers?

Bought a Yardcare n1600pro. Never could get it to work. Appears to be a victim of poor quality control. Hopefully, customer service can help. Definitely would not buy experiencing what I have up to this point. This is to help you all so it doesn’t repeat the same scenario.
Biggest reason – edges. If I invest I want one that's going to get right to the edge. I love my riding lawnmower and I’m already cutting 2 acres of lawn, bringing in my riding lawnmower into my 0.1 acre dog run really is no big deal but if I can get something that’s gonna get right to those edges that my riding lawnmower can’t do and save the whipper snipping. I’m happy to invest then.
What do you do when the battery run its life and is no longer holds enough charge to do the job? This would likely happen in just 5 years. Do you basically end up with a ~$2000 paperweight? I don't see options on the websites for a replace battery.

We have several trees and 3 Cl. River Birch so we have lots of sticks on the ground. I am worried that it will always be leaving patches because of the sticks. Are any of them better for this problem?

I think the 1 might I have 1.45 acres however I’m not sure the slopes would work. The house is mid way up a hill. I would buy a mower at 2,000.00 if it could do all the terrains I have.

The Navi (the last one) has an automatic gate so it can mow a front and backyard separated by a fence. That is one reason why I have not bought one. Now I will wait a year before getting one as I never buy first generation anything.
