Disconnected Error On Husqvarna Automower Connect App: How To Diagnose It And Solve The Issue



In this video we show you how you can diagnose the “Disconnected” error message that appears on the Automower Connect app when you are checking the status of your Husqvarna Automower. The first thing that you need to know is that this is an issue related to the Automower Connect app and the Automower Connect/GPS board in the mower and should not affect the Automowers other functions. So why are you seeing this error? There are a number of causes for this error such as an outdated Connect board in your mower, a failed SIM card on the Connect board, poor or non existent coverage by a GSM network provider in your area, software needing updated, etc. So, in this video we will help you narrow down the cause of your disconnected issue and possibly solve it without a trip to the dealer. In a lot of areas in North America this area is being caused by cell phone network providers eliminating 2G and 3G networks as they shift their focus to better supporting their 4G networks and preparing for the broadening of their 5G networks. If you Automower still has a 2G or 2G/3G Connect board installed in it, then you will need to have it replaced with a new 4G Automower Connect board. Replacing an Automower Connect board means making a trip to your local Automower dealer an having them update the mower’s software. This software update MUST be done in order for the mower to recognize and work with the Automower Connect board. Even if you have a 435X or 535 AWD that has the firmware over the air (FOTA) feature, you still have to go to the dealer to have the software updated to allow a new Automower Connect board to work.

  1. Hi, I’ve come across an unusual problem with my 450X. It will cut the lawn just fine and goes back to the charging station to recharge but when it goes into the station, it pushes in but doesn’t connect ( no beeb) and comes back out after 10 seconds and retries again to recharge. It was fine last year and no changes to other other than a service by a Husqvarna dealer.
    Would you have any ideas. My dealer, over the phone, has hit a blank. From a West of Ireland user.

My 315x has run perfectly for the past 3 years until recently it kept disconnecting, thought it needed a firmware update so I sent it in for a service, had it back last week and within 30 minutes of cutting the grass it disconnected again !!! I rebooted and reset my mower and it was fine until again 30 minutes of cutting the grass it disconnected again, my local dealer has found no faults with my mower or charging station, it’s very frustrating, any ideas would be a great help thanks

  3. I just got a connect board fitted to my 305 but I can not connect to it as it will not give me a pairing code it won’t do a reset and does the connect board need a SIM card ?

  4. Sure wish they would do remote firmware updates for my 450X. I believe I am still on the original firmware.
    As usual a great info and how to for us Automower owners
