In this video we go through the basic items to check if your Automower is not charging when parked in the charging station. Too many times we see people jump immediately to thinking the Automower’s battery needs to be replaced or that because the charging station LED is solid green it should be charging. As you will see in this video there are several parts involved in the charging circuit for a Husqvarna Automower and it could be any one of these components that is causing the issue. To figure out which component is causing your mower not to charge you need to start at the source where the power comes from and follow it until it stops. This means starting with making sure that you have the full 28 volts coming into the charging station from the transformer. Then you need to make sure that the charging station is putting out that same amount of power at its charging contacts. After making sure that the charging station is putting out the required power it’s time to move on to the Automower and making sure the charging voltage is making it from the Automower’s charging contacts all the way through its internal wiring and into the Automower’s battery. If you have not viewed our video about errors caused by the charging current supervisor, and happen to have that error come up, all of these components mentioned in this video can be the cause of a charging current supervisor error because it is an error prompted by there not being the required amount of charging amperage reaching the mower’s battery. So by learning how to test these components and solving the issue of why your Automower is not charging you are well on to you way of understanding and being able to solve charging current supervisor errors as well.

Hi, I have a Husqvarna Automower 320, and after replacing its battery with a compatible commercial one from Amazon, it shows the message “Battery problem” and then shuts down.
If I install the BMS (Battery Management System) from the old battery into the new one, could it work?

So my issue is exactly as you described- the double beep (connecting) followed by the immediate disconnect beep. I looked at the board but no residue… it looks super clean.
The green led is on, slowly push the mower into the base station, the led flashes red for a second and turns off. Then the beeps repeat every 10 seconds or so, double beep and disconnect beep.

Very odd issue on my 430x. Won't turn on when removed from the base. If I manually push it it and start it, it reverses out after 30 seconds or so but dies as soon as it disconnects.
I looked at the battery info after I turn it on and it shows good voltage and the capacity level starts to increase. When it reached 17 mAh it jumps to fully charged then the voltage drops to 0.4 and the cpacity level goes to negative 1. I am assuming the reason it reverses out on it's own is when it jumps to that fully charged level for a second. Not sure if this sounds more like a faulty battery of a board.
My mower does nothing when I put it in the charging station, screen is dead, 28 volts at the nose. Now what?

Brilliant video, I have solved a parking / charging problem thanks to your excellent video. I used the multi meter on the docking station all was fine, even had correct voltage on the blade terminals, the give away was no beep from the mower when manually parking it on dock, it was the 450x burnt out connect just inside the mower body, swapped that, and everything is fine. Good morning, I have a 330x robot and high voltage at home above the 240v set by the charger, it peaks at 255 per cent, I assumed that this would cause a breakdown in the transformer charger, but what happens is that it kills the batteries. Has anyone had this happen to them? Can batteries die from high voltage? thank you very much

I have used Robotic Motor Services many times over the past few years, from replacing sensors and defective wheel motors, to testing charging and many others. Charging station 28V. Put mower in charger I hear 2 chirping sounds. Pull mower out a little to test mower contacts. I still get 28v on mower. Screen says "Mower Blocked 5 min count down. Gets to 3 mins says" mower shutting down" screen goes dead. Bought mower as second owner. However, it has never been used. Appreciate any help!

Seriously, thank you! Found the little plug was melted under the mower. On tip, get some test cables with crocodile clips, can then hook up mower to charging station and have it upside down to poke multimeter into various plugs! Thanks again!
