If you own a cordless BOSCH tool, you would need a Bosch battery to operate.
Sometimes the battery just simply won’t charge normally and the battery charger might blink red light.
This indicates that something is wrong with the battery.
To fix this issue, you may try to reset the faulty Bosch battery.
Just connect the positive terminal of one battery to the positive terminal of the another battery.
Similarly, connect the negative terminal of battery to the negative terminal of the another battery.
After that, try to press the battery indicator to check if the power flows through the battery in balance.
This should have reset the Bosch battery and fix the battery not charging issue.

So, are you just charging a battery with another battery?
I have a ProCORE 4.0 Ah battery with the same issue. Can I do the same thing using a regular 4.0 Ah or 5.0 Ah Bosch battery that is not ProCORE?
I’ve tried this and it accepts a charge now after no led on battery but is taking ages to go upto to bar the battery.
Wow – took my Bosch hedge trimmer apart rebuilt it still wouldn’t work charger always lit green. Did this with a fully charged Makita battery and boom, we’re back trimming!! Thanks so much
Worked. You are the man. For anyone else don’t leave them hooked up for longer than this, those wires heat up fast
why do the battery die with in a couple of months?
what the middle terminal for ?
it really working. thanks
This did not work- and actually killed the doner battery as well. Solution was to place the batteries in an official bosch tool and use for 2 mins, the drill resets the error and allowed both batteries to recharge again. This was after using them for ebikes, possibly I over discharging one of the batteries.
Amazing, it worked. Thank you.
Thank you very much. I tryed and its working… thanks again
I only have one Bosch 24V 3.0Ah NiCd 2 607 335 215 battery. Any ideas how I might "jump start" this. Originally thought the problem was the charger , bought another but similar problem.
👍👍👍 Great💪 Thank you
Did not work on my 36v 4.0ah battery. That battery was used on my lawn mower. Everything was fine. Then when I went to charge it after using it, it just showed the red blinking light.
Top – der 36V-Akku lädt wieder
Mine didnt blink at all, make them charge again ❤
somoene said not to do this
Just done this for my 36v and is now charging… thank you
Good video. Any idea why my Bosch 18v 8Ah procore battery will charge and say it’s full but only 3 of the 5 fuel gauge lights will work? I tested the cells and they are good.
